In order to better improve the construction level of key disciplines in our hospital, improve the research ability of postgraduate students, and produce high-quality clinical research results。On the afternoon of September 5, 2024, the Research and Management Office invited Professor Liu Jianping of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, a special expert of our institute我院Some postgraduate students and key discipline backbone members carried out the special training "From Experience to Evidence: Evidence-Based Medicine to Promote the Inheritance and Innovative Development of Traditional Chinese Medicine"。

This training mainly focuses on four aspects: evidence-based clinical practice, Evidence-Based medicine method system, evidence-based medicine to promote the inheritance and innovation of TCM, and practice-based TCM clinical research。Professor Liu pointed out that the evidence-based evaluation of the clinical efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine is an important research model and path to promote traditional Chinese medicine to the world, and the design of traditional Chinese medicine clinical research is the premise and key to make high-quality clinical research results and obtain high-level evidence。He explained the background, concept and current situation of evidence-based medicine and the relationship between evidence-based medicine and translational medicine, analyzed the importance of evidence-based medicine in clinical decision-making, and detailed how to cultivate evidence-based practice skills。Finally, Professor Liu combined with the current situation of traditional Chinese medicine inheritance, innovation and development, analyzed how to maintain the characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine in evidence-based medicine research, and proposed to build a "combination of disease and syndrome" TCM efficacy evaluation system based on the experience of famous old Chinese medicine。

This special training is a specific measure for RMIO to further implement the introduction of high-level talents in the construction of key disciplines and improve the level of scientific research in disciplines, and also provides the preliminary work basis for the next stage of scientific research collaboration platform。The Research and Management Office will continue to increase the publicity of key disciplines, take the initiative to contact high-level leading talents, organize a series of special training of flexible introduction experts, and do a good job for the introduction of first-class disciplinary talents and the improvement of the level of discipline connotation construction。
