       1. Strengthening research platforms

       In 2018, our hospital was officially approved the second batch of "National TCM Clinical Research Base" construction units, achieving a breakthrough in the construction of national TCM clinical research base in our province, bringing new opportunities for the innovation and development of TCM in our province, and providing a good carrier and platform for improving the construction of TCM clinical research system in our province。In 2019, the hospital launched a TCM evidence-based capacity building project and a TCM inheritance and innovation platform construction project, providing a solid foundation for building an evidence-based capacity building platform and carrying out evidence-based research and practice in the next step。Relying on the construction of national TCM clinical research base，In 2020, it was approved as the Clinical Medical Research Center of Traditional Chinese Medicine (Rheumatism) in Yunnan Province，In 2021, the Clinical Laboratory and Blood Transfusion Department of the hospital successfully passed the on-site evaluation of ISO 15189 medical laboratory accreditation conducted by the China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS)。In May 2022, it was successfully selected into the project cultivation database of the National Traditional Chinese Medicine Inheritance and Innovation Center, and became another state-level high-level scientific and technological platform of traditional Chinese medicine obtained by the hospital。In October 2022, the hospital Ethics Committee passed the certification of "Traditional Chinese Medicine Research Ethics Review System (CAP)" organized by the World Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine, which provides strong support for the further improvement of clinical and scientific research work of our hospital, and is of great significance for standardizing and promoting the development of clinical research of traditional Chinese medicine。

       (2) Outstanding scientific research achievements

       (3) Promote laboratory construction

       Laboratory is an important position of scientific research, an important supporting condition of discipline construction, and the cradle of talent training。Relying on the Traditional Chinese Medicine inheritance and innovation project of the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the hospital completed a new transformation of the key laboratory of Clinical research in Yunnan University (central laboratory) in 2021, with an area of 1,100 square meters, and successfully obtained the experimental animal use license in September 2022。The laboratory is equipped with barrier system SPF animal laboratory, cell culture room, pathology laboratory, molecular biology room, etc。It has more than 7 million instruments and equipment such as flow cytometry and fluorescence quantitative PCR。The laboratory constantly improves the system, strictly implements and abides by the relevant technical regulations of the laboratory, operates normally, and no safety accidents occur。At present, the hospital laboratory has been built into a major scientific research and experimental technical service platform with good facilities, supporting equipment, functional laboratories and open laboratories。

       (4) Pay attention to the academic inheritance and innovation of famous traditional Chinese medicine, and strengthen the construction of talents

       The hospital attaches great importance to the inheritance and innovation of famous old Chinese medicine academic thoughts and clinical experience，We will continue to promote the construction of talents for inheritance and innovation，Since 2017, there have been 2 new national famous Chinese medicine studios，The national famous old Chinese medicine expert inheritance studio 6，Yunnan Wu Peiheng Fuyang academic School inheritance studio to carry out the second round of construction，There are 3 academician expert workstations of the Provincial Science and Technology Department。Approved the national famous Chinese medicine 3 people，National young Qhuang scholars training object 1，There are 6 national TCM clinical outstanding talents (3 people have completed training，3 people in training)，The national traditional Chinese medicine characteristic technology inheritance talents 4 people (2 people completed training，2 people in training)，There are 4 backbone talents of Chinese medicine nursing in the country (2 people have completed training，2 people in training)，There are 2 training objects for the backbone talents of traditional Chinese medicine clinical characteristics technology inheritance，National Western learning backbone talent training object 1 person，Two people were trained as the backbone talents of traditional Chinese medicine innovation，There are 33 high-level TCM talents in Yunnan Province, 2 technological innovation talents in Yunnan Province, and 1 young and middle-aged academic and technical leaders and reserve talents in Yunnan Province。And completed the training of national teacher successors 30, provincial teacher successors 14, in the training of national teacher successors 38, provincial teacher successors 20。

       In order to cultivate grassroots TCM talents and realize sinking and sharing high-quality resources, the hospital actively establishes secondary workstations or grassroots workstations at the grassroots level to promote the inheritance and promotion of academic thoughts and clinical experience of famous and old TCM experts in our hospital。Since 2017, our hospital has established a total of 188 secondary workstations or grassroots workstations in all medical units。

       (5) Encourage research team building

       Since 2017, the hospital has completed the construction of a provincial innovation team (Provincial innovation Team for TCM prevention and Treatment of skin diseases), and developed hospital preparations such as Yangxue Qufeng granules, with annual sales of nearly 10 million yuan。

       Add a provincial innovation team (Traditional Chinese medicine and Ethnic medicine treatment of endocrine and metabolic diseases provincial innovation team) construction。It undertook more than 16 projects, including 6 projects of the National Natural Science Foundation, 2 major science and technology projects of Yunnan Province, 2 provincial key projects and 6 departmental projects, and obtained more than 10 million yuan of approved scientific research funds。Developed a variety of internal and external hospital preparations, widely used in the clinical treatment of endocrine diseases, gynecology, osteoporosis and other diseases, for the hospital to create good social and economic benefits。

       The national drug clinical trial institution of Yunnan Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine has the specialties of pediatrics of traditional Chinese medicine, nephropathy of traditional Chinese medicine, liver disease of traditional Chinese medicine, rheumatism of traditional Chinese medicine, gynecology of traditional Chinese medicine, tumor of traditional Chinese medicine, otorhinolaryngology of traditional Chinese medicine, andrology of traditional Chinese medicine, skin of traditional Chinese medicine, respiratory of traditional Chinese medicine, neurology of traditional Chinese medicine, endocrine of traditional Chinese medicine and other specialties to carry out Ⅱ-Ⅳ drug clinical trials。Since 2017, all majors have carried out 43 phase II-IV drug clinical trials, with a cumulative contract amount of nearly 8 million yuan。In 2017, Clinical Pharmacological Research Center (Phase I clinical trial Laboratory) was introduced and established.，In addition to close to the national generic drug consistency evaluation strategy needs，In addition to conducting drug bioequivalence studies，Further expand the study of pharmacokinetics, phase I clinical trials and clinical evaluation of Yunnan ethnic medicine and other fields，At present, 69 projects are being carried out，The cumulative contract value is more than 100 million yuan。

       (6) Improving continuing medical education

       Continuing medical education is a lifelong education based on learning new theories, new knowledge, new technology and new methods of modern medical science and technology development。Since 2017, our hospital has organized 227 continuing medical education programs, including 75 national continuing medical education programs and 152 provincial continuing medical education programs, with a total of 31,160 trainees。

       China's TCM industry is ushering in an unprecedented period of opportunities.
